Quality and service standards
Our primary goal is to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the quality of our service. With this in mind, our commitment is to monitoring and implementing quality control procedures relating to the following areas:
1. Editorial quality
All assignments are edited by specialist editors whose academic credentials and experience relate to the academic discipline relevant to your submission.
This is why we ask you to tell us the subject classification when you submit your paper, to ensure that we match this to the most appropriate editor. Our staff will also review the classification match, and will be happy to answer any questions if you are unsure which classification to choose.
All papers are also screened by a quality control editor prior to being returned to you.
We monitor and measure feedback relating to the quality of our editors so that we can ensure that standards are maintained.
We also have a formalised complaints process, ensuring that any complaints are logged within our Online Management System; acknowledged within 24 hours (business days) tracked and responded to within the time frame we indicate to you.
If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of our editing, or your paper is subsequently rejected on the grounds of language problems, we will re-edit your paper for free (provided that any comments from our editors have been accommodated and that the paper has not been significantly altered after our editing process and before submission or resubmission to your target journal).
2. Timeliness
We guarantee that your paper will be returned to you on the due date during our office hours (9am China Standard Time to 5pm GMT [12am China Standard Time]), provided that the delay is not due to outstanding queries that require your input as the author. If we are late, the full fee is waived.
We also guarantee that we will contact you on or before the due date if the return date will be delayed for any reason.
3. Confidentiality
We recognize that every editing assignment we receive is the result of considerable endeavor, time, and intellectual input. For this reason, we take every care with the handling of confidentiality relating to personal information and documentation. 4. Editing Certificate

We provide an Editing Certificate as standard as our guarantee of quality. We recommend that you submit this to your target journal along with your submission. Click here to see an example of our Editorial Certificate. You can also download your own certificate at any time from our Online Management System, or contact us if you need any help retrieving it. Please note Whilst we guarantee that the quality of our editing will meet the requirements of international journal standards and that it will not be rejected on the grounds of poor language (in which case we will re-edit for free), we cannot guarantee that your article will be accepted for publication in your target journal. Articles may be rejected by journals for many reasons, such as being out of scope, lack of scientific novelty, or for reasons relating to the quality of the science or research design and application. If you have any questions about rejection of articles, our advice is firstly to check with the journal editorial staff to ask them to explain their reasons; secondly, you are welcome to contact us to help you to interpret and respond to journal comments, and to help re-edit your paper to accommodate editorial feedback if the journal is rejecting your paper but prepared to reconsider a revised submission. We offer re-editing for revised submissions at a reduced fee as part of our Silver Package and at no extra cost as part of our Gold Package and Platinum Package.
